[Herz needs to find clothes that fit. So...he's out doing that. The t-shirt and jeans he's currently wearing hang off him--he's pretty much swimming in fabric. Very cute.

He just happens to wander near...someone who kinda looks familiar. He stops, staring blatantly at the teenager, black eyes squinted to slits as he tries to place just who this person could be. Uuuugh such a crap memory!]

[Kage's already managed to find a pair of black leather jeans, boots, a properly fitting shirt and he's still wearing 'his' uniform jacket. He notices the black-eyed kid oogling him and Kage squints.

He's figured out that most people here don't speak the world language, so he just grunts.]

[Kage blinks. This strange-looking guy with the vanity eye-implants knows him? He nods and points to himself.]

[Herz knows what Naam means, but not that other word. Eh, he doesn't think anything of it. Kage threads Al Hebb into their conversations a lot. He doesn't get it yet.

Instead he grins wider, holds out his arms and kinda tilts his head, obviously putting himself on display.]

So. Whatcha think? I got short right? Kinda fit the 'kid' description now, right?

[Uh, what?

Who the fuck is this brat? Why's he holding out his arms like that? Kage's a little unsettled and he sucks on his teeth, hands on his hips. He's trying to figure out what's going on.

Finally he just says flatly in AlHebb:]

Listen, rich-bitch, I don't understand a Tir's titty-fuckin' word'a your language. Y'look like we should know each other, but I don't got a fuckin' clue who you are.

[...Alright, that was a whole lot of nothing Herz understood. His hands fall as he realizes that maybe Kage doesn't know who he is. Or maybe it's not Kage.

[When the teen agrees, Herz looks unsettled. He hasn't met anyone--that he knows of--that changed and forgot. He needs to check his comm more.

[Kage scratches his chin. He doesn't understand a single syllable, but he understands that was a question. He shrugs his shoulders.]

I don't speak your language. You seem to know who I am, though, Herz.

I dunno how this is gonna work--I have no clue what you're saying, you've no clue what I'm--wait!

[He actually doesn't wait for an answer. He just pulls out his comm and starts typing.]

[He just watches what Herz is doing, since the teenager seemed to have asked him a question.]

Herz makes sure what he's spelling is perfect before handing it over for Kage to read.

"Can you read this?" is typed out plain as day and very much only in English across the screen.]

Being wholly illiterate, it does nothing. He glances down at the screen, then immediately shrugs and hands it back.]
