In the small tourist-inspired province of Ninh Binh we took a 1 hour and 30 minute boat ride. As an introduction to the boat ride, our resident director said that the person limit was 2 foreigners per boat and 6 Vietnamese per boat. Of course I thought he was joking, but he wasn't. Thank Jesus above that I have had at least scant opportunities to bring the dance here. For the first couple weeks I was very VERY deprived. Last night we went to a club called EsCAPE(backwards "s"). It had really cheesy signs like "I don't give a ship) and something about cows and bulls. Nevertheless, since I am skilled in bringing the dance I had a fun time dancing with some Asian business man who liked to twirl. I also danced to Nirvana on the small stage on the dance floor and hit on some curly headed French dude. One tends to get gutsy when the eye candy is scarce.
