One more day of being 34
Well, tomorrow is my 35th birthday. Yesterday we celebrated with my family since my birthday is during the week. We had lunch with my parents, my aunt and my grandmother, who I hadn't seen in I don't know how long.
I'll tell you - 35 is looking pretty darn good. My husband and I bought a house last Monday and I started a new job on Saturday. I'm still hoping that I get accepted for one of those work at home jobs but we'll see. In the interim McDonalds will have to do.
What did I get for my birthday, I'm sure you are wondering. Well, I got a pair of pajamas, a bathing suit coverup, a candle, $25 from my grandmother, a Target gift card from my mother in law, and my big present was a VERY comfortable chaise lounge for our yard. It's so cool - you can use it either as a regular chair or as a lounger. They're all the rage now a days.
So yeah, I had a happy birthday. Too bad I have to work on my real birthday, but that's okay.
