Frustration

Why is it that when you think you have a friend, that even though they say that their friendship will continue after something else ends it never happens? I have an online friend that I have been trying to get in touch with for a couple of weeks, and they are ignoring my messages. *sighs*

I guess that when someone says that they still want to be friends, that you shouldn't believe it or get your hopes up because otherwise you may just get your feelings hurt.
