it's been a hectic past few days, but things are calming down. the act's were interesting. some parts were very different and a lot harder than the sat's, some easier, but i guess that was to be expected.
went to see saved! on saturday night. what an awesome movie. granted i would have enjoyed it no matter what considering my patrick fugit was in it, but it was funny, interesting, and enjoyable. i need to write to patrick fugit explaining what almost famous means to me. actually, i don't think i could accurately verbalize how amazing it is, and i won't attempt to now. it's so much more than a movie, if that makes sense. maybe if i include a mix tape with my letter it will actually motivate him to read it? haha, it's funny how much my geekdom shows sometimes.
this afternoon kay, marc, my brother and i played this extreme golf game marc and matt made up. i think it's impossible to play extreme golf (or any sport) though when you can just lay in the grass in the sun.
tonight i went to this banquet thing with the envirothon team to receive an award. it was long, involved wearing a dress, and was hot, but it wasn't that bad. we were all laughing the whole time because mrs. jaskot was talking about really random shit in her speech. i also forgot how much i move around when i'm in front of a large group of people. i do the different ballet positions as a nervous habit. i better work on that.
tomorrow is my interview for editor in chief of muse next year. i'm really nervous about it. it would be so amazing to be one of the editors next year, i'm scared it's not going to happen. hopefully i don't get really nervous and sound ridiculous. ahhhh.
