(no subject)
So on Sunday, Anna, Lizzie, Rebecca, and I went to Disneyland. We drove up there at around 6:00 AM with Anna's handy GPS and Lizzie's smooth driving. “Recalculating.”
Since it was super early, there was no wait for the lines at all in the beginning.
I forgot the order of the rides we went on so I'll just summarize.
Matterhorn bobsleds first. It was super dark and the scary Ice Men people scared me.
We went on Autopia, where I crashed into Anna's car a thousand times even though I tried really hard not to.
Buzz light year was really fun so we went on it three times. My arm is sore from repeatedly pressing the trigger.
Big Thunder Mountain. People were like, "Ah!" because they expected a huge drop but...there weren't any. I'm not making much sense...
Haunted Mansion was not as scary as when I went on it at Oak. Probably the scariest part was when we were in that room that stretches and then there's lightning and you see a girl on a noose on the ceiling. Okay.
We went on Indiana Jones twice. We pretty much walked a mile to and from the ride. Midget Indiana Jones everywhere! And the seat belts tightened over time so in the end, I was close to suffocating. Nice.
Mr. Toad's Wild Ride was very...wild.
We went on It's a Small World because we just wanted to sit there. There were so many little cute people but the song was killing my brain cells.
Space Mountain was probably the best ride. But, I wasn't really into the Red Hot Chili Peppers thing. It just didn't match the space theme, I guess. And our pictures were really attractive.
For lunch, we ate Clam chowder out of sourdough bowls. We were waiting for a seat to clear up and we were about to sit down when this chubby girl ran to our seat and screamed, "DAD, I GOT SEATS!!!" We were almost going to punch her in the face when she realized our glares. Then, she was like, "Oh," and ran out. This New Orleans band came out and this Asian band member pretty much threw his whole assortment of necklaces at us. Because we're his homegals...
Pirates of the Caribbean was better than before because they added Jack Sparrow into it. And Anna was obviously really into it because she took a 15 minute nap.
We went canoeing. That was interesting/tiring. The tour guide was a cutie. And, I got chlorinated/dirty water in my face and jeans. I love it.
Toon Town was cute. Anna is great at estimating the softness of couches. We went on that really short roller coaster and it was pretty sad.
Roger Rabbit's car toon spin was tiring. Rebecca and I were trying to rotate the car but our efforts were pointless because it spins on itself?
We watched a "Honey, I Shrunk the Audience" in 3-D where we screamed constantly when we could just have taken our glasses off. But hey, might as well get the full effect of the movie, right?
Okay, after we went on Indiana Jones, we saw Jasmine and Aladdin. And then, Aladdin was like, "Come here, Jasmine" or something to that effect and grabbed Jasmine's hand and they walked off together. That was the most genuinely cute things I have ever seen. I love you, Aladdin.
After that, there was a parade where Anna and I just stared at this awkward looking Asian guy. Then, we left.
We finally went to cue :) It was super fun. And Rebecca is obviously a great decorator :p
Then, we ate pho. Whoop :)
