December is fun and the fun of Christmas starts this weekend for me when I'll go Christmas shopping on Saturday all day.
After the New Year we'll have to have a countdown until V comes back. Might post a pic or wallpaper each week at my lj to countdown the time.
Ohhhh, I was checking your previous posts and have grabbed two V icons and will probably be back for more. The one that I'm using I've been searching for an icon with this pic :-)
Oooh that s a great idea for a countdown, i'd certainly love to see some wallpapers.
And yep i made icons from promo pics before the show started and for each episode.
I've pretty much done all my xmas shopping, but i still like to get bits and bobs in closer to xmas, i love the bustling christmas mad dash shopping atmosphere (except i dont wanna be the rushing around mad one, so i like to pick ickle things up in the madness)
I'll probably be grabbing more icons! Need to clean out some of the ones that I have uploaded right now. You'd think having 125 would be enough but it's not.
My wallpapers are nothing fancy, just plain and simple. I know there are others on my flist who are watching the show and it's always so much fun fangirling together.
I've thought about Christmas shopping and that's about it. There is a Best Buy near where I live and at 4:00 this afternoon people were camped outside it.
as you can see, i have 1.. yep only 1... i save many icons and use them when i can but if i started adding more id never stop... you should see my pictures section on one of the harddrives... im very OCD when it comes to organizing all the fandomness.
My taste in desktop wallpapers is the simpler the better, i much prefer a nice simple picture without any writing on over something fancy.
Camping for Christmas!!! thats amazing... what was the big rush for? what did they desperately need?
Since I started my lj I've always had the extra icons and as soon as the notice came through that it was time to renew I was over at paypal asap. There are some icons that I've had since I started back in March 2005 that I just can't hit the delete button. It's all your fault that I changed my default icon ;-) It was time for a change since I had been using the one of Simon Baker for awhile.
Right now I have a very simple wallpaper of Simon Baker that I'm using. It's just two pictures with a fall background. Need to change that soon too.
No matter what Best Buy had on sale it's not worth staying there overnight. I just don't get the camping out like that and missing Thanksgiving.
edit- the camping out at the stores guess you can say it's a crazy American thing. I might be a bit crazy from time to time and I'm an American but just not that kind of crazy American.

Wow people missed thanksgiving to camp out... maybe they all had bad familys and didnt care what Bestbuy had... thats so odd. I mean black friday sales right? but couldnt they all go shopping as a family?
I wouldnt just say a crazy american thing, it seems to the extreme of it. I've been asked to camp out for concert and wrestling tickets before, and im like.. erm no ill ring from home in the morning. *gg*

Black Friday sales are huge over here and I just don't get it. Yeah, you get good deals on items but for me no deal is that good to camp outside a store and miss a holiday that's about spending time with your family and friends.

Why would you want to do something like that when you can sleep outside of the stores!?! My Thanksgiving was spent with family, eating, laughing and having a good time.
So many good ones it's going to be hard to choose.
