Being a list of life's updates and news:
I brought my car to the island without incident (that is, safe and sound, and now it is parked outside my building, and all is well)
I got pictures developed while I was home, they are lovely, I have scanned them and am posting some.
I can't think of anything else worth while to note, haha, those are the main things that are wonderful.

Peacock 1
One of a few photos I took of this and other peacocks in Beacon Hill Park. Since I wasn't using digital (obviously), I took several pictures because he kept on moving closer and I wanted to get a few nice ones. They are just pretty birds, what can I say?
Peacock 2
Peacock 3 (being the last of the peacock photos in this batch)
Peacock in the Trees (okay, THIS is the last peacock photo I guess)
Baby Goat Sleeping in the Sun
Of COURSE we spent time in the petting zoo with the baby goats, look how cute!
Katie and Em Walking 1
I had to be a creeper and take several photos trailing behind Kathleen and Emily because it was Emily's last day in Victoria and I wanted to make sure I got some nice pics of the two of them. I dunno how well I did but at least the day was well documented, haha
Emily and Kathleen Smiling
A nice picture taken in the non-creeper way, haha

Katie and Em Chatting

The Girls in the Twisted Tree
The tree is really neat but needed people posing with it to be worthy of a picture. Otherwise it's just a picture of a tree.
A Duck: being, of course, a photograph of a duck.
It is well known that I LOVE mallards, so in a place filled with ducks, I'm extremely happy. SO MANY DUCK DATES!
Katie and Em Walking 5
Katie Smelling Roses
Personally I love this picture.
Kathleen and Emily Smelling Roses
And personally I think this picture is adorable. Kathleen is lowering a rose branch for Emily to smell because they were too high, d'aw
So yeah. That's my latest batch, yay!
And here is some older stuff that I retrieved from the mainland and scanned, it is 4+ years old but still alright, I think. Unfortunately, either my scanner or the prints were dusty, so these aren't as clean as I would like, but it really doesn't matter so here they are anyhow.
A photo from a project in 1st year
This was during my phase which was heavily influenced by Francesca Woodman. I was taking a digital photography course in my first semester of college and this was one of the prints I produced, which I still like.
A portrait project from highschool
I never used to do portraits at all because I felt self-conscious taking other people's pictures with the intention of using the prints for projects/photography purposes. But this was when I started to try some new things, so this is a relatively young portrait sample of a girl I used to know, developed in sepia tone to make it look kinda aged. (This was a film photo, self-developed.)
Another highschool project photo
Another of the same girl, same time frame, except this time I laid one negative over the other and did a double exposure on this print. This, of course, is another film print, self-developed at the school back in the day.
And those are all I care to post at the moment...
Bon soir.
