(no subject)
Just wanted to post an entry because it's been a while. Not that this will be a comprehensive catch-up of the past few months or anything (I don't think that will be happening anymore hahahaha).
Anyway, what's been マイブーム ("my boom" = what's personally popular) is to act like annoying twelve year olds with Kim hahaha. We shamelessly watch teen movies, talk about how Avril Lavigne is our idol (plus other teen-ish idols), and talk about boys (not guys) (--I started watching Beverly Hills 90210 from the first season and I used to never understand the appeal of Brandon/Jason Priestly but wow he's cute! [I know this isn't that big of a deal or anything but--he has my birthday!! So does Jennifer Coolidge!! (Stifler's mom, the lady in Legally Blonde, etc) *sigh* all these coolios share my bday!!] Kim likes Dylan/Luke Perry but he has a gajillion wrinkles on his forehead which makes him pretty ugly so we can just assume that Kim has really bad taste. :D) It's been fun reliving my middle school years.
I have my first date(! <333) with a girl from the art club tomorrow! I think this is the first time I'm doing something one-on-one with someone not exchange-student related, so I'm pretty happy about that. We had a dork connection before during art club related things so I think it'll go well. We're going to an art museum in Roppongi <33 (hahaha that's really date-ish isn't it. You know when you chill with friends it's something like shopping or karaoke or dinner?)
I know I've mentioned a bit about being daunted about finding a part time job here but it's slowly fading away! I had my first interview yesterday for a waitressing job, actually, ("truth is, achually, I'm in love") even though I got turned down cuz they wanted someone for more than 6 months (so next time I apply somewhere I'm going to say I'll be here for a really long time.) But, that broke the ice so I'm doing better with the search now--I've scheduled an interview for next week for a clothing store near our dorms. Yayee~ I don't know if I'll get it but I'm just proud of myself for having the courage to call, etc (I know it's pretty doable for a lot of people but I get bogged down by stuff like that.) And if I don't get that job, I'll just try again. *phew* so I'm slowly moving on with life.

I found a look alike actor to teeks!:
^hehe he looks like he's in my room or something (I actually just took a pic of a magazine). Anyway, his name is Ryo Kase and he was in this movie I just watched (Hachimitsu to Clover). Anyway, if teeks were japanese I'm sure he would look like him.

Does the girl on the right remind you of anyone????
^I was at Meiji Shrine in Harajuku in late October when I saw them...Doesn't the guy on the left look like a taller, cleaned up version of Jeff??

^I know I was being horribly nosy and everything by tagging after them trying to get a good picture but the girl really reminded me of someone!! (leshialoo?) hahahaha
