Hey Guys,
Chicago was great. My Hotel room was super-swank. It had a river-view, TWO queen beds, a flat-screen TV, TWO sinks and mirrors, a shower AND a bathtub, and there was a TV in the bathroom!

I'm not sure how well my interview went, but I know the guy will remember me.
After he had asked his questions, he asked if I had anything I wanted to ask him and I said "So, How am I doing?" He laughed and replied that I was doing fine.
This was kind of ingenious of me (though I didn't realize it at the time) because it broke the tension and gave me a second to think of a better question.
And then, when we were all done and he was walking me back downstairs, he said that I was the only person who asked a question like that. And I said that he had asked me to be natural and myself. And then he said that it was better to be natural than superficial in graduate school.

Anyways.....We'll see what happens.

That afternoon, I took a short walk through the park and then went into the Art Institute of Chicago. That place is huge and has multiple paintings by many of the big artists uncluding Manet, Monet, Picasso, etc..

I've been rethinking my summer plans the last few days.
Originally, I was going to not work at all and focus on finding an apartment and moving to Chicago or somewhere else in Madison.
But, now I think that If I get in, the transition to a new place will be easier if I'm not there with nothing to do all day everyday.
So, I'm going to go apartment hunting late may and mid-june or july and am going to move in early August (I have to anyways because of the end of my lease here).
Also, I have already asked to work at camp in june and the second half of july.
I can't in the beginning of july because my family is taking a vacation up north and I may want more time to apartment search.

Camp will be good because I won't have to pay for food at least and can keep myself busy when I don't need to be other places. Plus, this way, I won't have to pay two leases at once. I'll still have to pay for my apartment in Madison, but at least I won't also be paying for a second apartment for a month.
