I love watching the thunderclouds roll in from the mountains, cross the valley, and land right over our rolling grasslands in front of the Menai Straight. You can watch the brilliantly sunny patches be swallowed up as the clouds literally roll down the hills and up again.

The best way I've heard it stated was by another international. She and I were doing a psych experiment on computers, and our instructor asked us what we thought of Wales. She pointed to the computer screen, which had the background of 'Bliss' from Windows XP, and said: That. That's what I tell everyone at home how Wales looks.

She's right. Down to the unearthly green of the grass, she's right.

And also today, I squeaked an A in Evolutionary, and woke up with a stiff neck. Which is a highly underrated agony in my book. Home in 6 days and change.
