Just got back from visiting my brother in my future home and college town, Three Hills, AB. It was his birthday, and he received mucho gifts, including some real finds, like a hardbound copy of the Llyod Alexander books and a leatherbound Marcus Aurelius Meditations, and some showstoppers, like the Complete BlackAdder series and the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on DVD. Good times. But even better, I was offered a nice rooming situation with his lovely and generous girlfriend and another girl I understand is comparably well-suited to rooming. I am going back to school, and since it is half-way through the year I expected to not be able to find a place off-campus. I had resigned myself to dorm life, at least for a semester, and comforted said self with the thought that at least, as a "mature" student, I can get a room to myself for no extra charge. To have a share in a house is bounty beyond expectation.
Have to get back to work, will update with more information on said house (can't help myself, I'm in love with the place) and maybe even some tidbits on what I'm currently reading.
