ok, as I already told you: never liked Justin that much in the first place and not even now. Hell, I'm liking him less even now! Nobody comes between Shaun and Zach, you twat! Though, I must confess that I always wondered how Shaun should have felt about Zach "using" him. For me, Shaun is not only the love of Zach's life but his ticket out of his life, his gate to his new one... and sometimes, I just wondered if Shaun ever stopped himself to think if Zach didn't really love him, that he even was enough for him and I feel so bad and sad and upset about it... and I have the feeling you're taking that way (correct me if I'm wrong, please). Anyway, LOVING THIS! THANKS FOR WRITING IT!
You're welcome! And thank you so much for reading and engaging with the story so far. {hugs readers madly}
As far as Zach "using" Shaun goes... I think Shaun would actually have to be a saint of some kind to not wonder about that, even briefly, even once, especially considering the speed at which things moved - and that we never got to see how the conversation about Cody actually *went* in the movie.
[sigh]
I adore Justin, I have to admit - this is being written from a place of real affection for all the characters involved. He's had a tough go of things, and post-series he's trying to make a name for himself in the most highly competitive art market in North America, and I've tried to take that into account with how I've aged him up.
I have everything fully planned out for the remaining chapters, and actually have most of chapter ten written at this stage... I'm not going to give any hints other than the ones I've already dropped inadvertently, but hopefully it will be satisfactory!
Enjoyed the Daphne and Justin talk a great deal! She wasn't impressed = *snorts * Their conversation was so funny
I have affection for all the characters, too, and I hope it ends up well for Shaun/Zach and Justin/Brian. Although I am enjoying the angst, I am a happy-enidng kind of reader, lol
