It seems as though a woman's work (or in my case, the woman who is home for the summer from school) is never quite done. I decided to go on a cleaning rampage but I'm not really sure if I'll ever be done. It just seems like the minute I clean something, it gets dirty when I'm not looking. This makes cleaning seem... unfulfilling, especially since it never stays the way I left it for long.
I, also, have decided that I need to start working on "finishing" the house. Our house feels unfinished in terms of decorating. One thing I definitely need to do is consider curtains for the dining room. The color in there is so overpowering that I think curatins and a few more things on the wall will make it seem less crazy. I also want curtains for the "blue" room. It's our hodge-podge room right now and I think some neat cafe curtains owuld make the room feel less like a garbage room and more like an office (for the time being).
I really need to be better about putting stuff away where it belongs. My mom always harped on me about that and now, I can see the wisdom in her preaching. It really does keep things much tidier.
I bought some school supplies today-- mechanical pencils, my favorite pens, and a binder. I just need to order my lesson plan/class roster book-- TODAY!
