Weekend Updatey bits...
Friday:
Spend some me-time in the morning, working on various chores etc. I felt I got a good amount done. Did some larp mails, did some art... and then went to game early so we could have dinner! yay food! Game was quite fun. We had some cool visitors, and the interaction was awesome. Mostly it was awesome cause we got to go to the bar early.. where it is WARM. :D
The bar is never crowded when we get there, so they like it when we show up. heh.
Saturday:
Went over to Troy's, did laundery, dyed my hair (thank god), and did a wee bit of organizing in barn barn.
I need to go over there maybe on Saturday and really clean. Mostly spent this weekend retrieving things, and moving stuff around to see what is there. I am going to throw away all the stuff I will never use (not my fabric. Fabric went with me to new place). and then stack the rest on one side so Troy can use teh barn as storage too.
THEN I went to Folk Influsions performance at the Side Show Studios. The girls rocked, but the audience was comatose. Boo. That said, I did get a lot of good submission info from the studio, so I will be participating in their upcoming shows. :D
We (Folk Infusion girls, their friends, and I) then went to the Kasbah down on J Street. A fellow dancer was performing, by the name of Andrea I think? Really adorable petite brunette. Her costume was killer, and her music was killer... did the audience notice? NEWP. It was truly a dead audience night all around.. we clapped and hollered for her though. Nothing sucks more than being ignored during dancing at a restaraunt. ugh. At least Kasbah is a good atmosphere and faboo food, and they do pay a base rate to their dancers as well, which is nice. Bad audience! No biscuit! heh.
Sunday:
Did some more puttering, I was tired so slept way to late. Then went at 1:00 pm to meet up w/ Josh, tpo Leo Gianelli aka Matty Smith. We worked on performance stuff. We are going to sing a duet together, which should be awesome I think. I am looking forward to it! It is fun working with Josh. :D
Ran Game.. it was good. Got some good things done, the RP was great. Very proud of one of our Assamite players for her actions at a prior game. It is good to see players thinking through what they do. :D
My tremere amused me as usual.. Since the Tremere Chantry ACTUALLY has books on lore of course, I did a bit of a grab bag.. I wrote down multiple lores on bitty pieces of paper (over 20 in all) and let the new Regent player pull them from a hat. I did include some funny ones, like "snow globe x 3" and "Chantry Calamari x 5". *snicker*. Oh, and "Why your Sts hate you all x 5"... that said, he picked pretty well. And by well I mean, baddly for him, good for me. Lots of nice vanilla lores. *snicker* He got a few clan lores, but was sad to get Toreador lore..
"aw.. nobody needs lore.. they like pretty things, and the setites all hang out in their clan. and the catiff.. dammit.. I was hoping for some Ventrue lore.." haa haa haa..
That is probably why I had the Toreador lore in their 5 or so times. haa haa ... (when he reads this he will smack me.)
Before all my ST friends out there panic, the lore only counts as ONE teacher.. so the player still has to find however many teachers with the level they want to teach them.. so nobody lose their minds... heh. We are mean on lores in ROS.. :D
One of our newish players lost his PC last week, and made a new one, and I was very very impressed that his new character is NOTHING like the old one. He did the full costume change, everything. He is playing a mental-oriented Brujah, which is also nice. His name is Matt, used to play an absolute mess of a Malkavian.. heh. So it will be interesting to see how his new PC developes.
Sunday night; Sweeet sweet insomnia. COULD not fall asleep. Tried. Failed. Got maybe one hour? 1/2 hour? meh. Finally gave in and got up around 6:00 am on monday.

Monday:
Did more organizations of Studio things. Kidnapped Jim and bribed him with breakfast so he would help me move around stuff. heh. Got him home by 5ish, so not too bad. I was going to hang with teh Eran, alas he cancelled. Is ok though, I cancelled on him last week. Weeknights kind of suck for me. By the time I get home from work/school I really don't want to go anywhere or do anything!!! We will reschedule. Will be okiez. I was soo freaking tired from the measly hour sleep I had.. I tried to go to bed.

I finally fell asleep at 10:00 pm, only to wake up at 2:00 am. meh.

Tuesday
So here I am at work. Blogging. I am a bad evil employee. Go me. Starving to death, cause I am an idiot and forgot snacks. I have a ton to get done for school n larp, but my brain shifted to a downswing.. so it is REALLY hard to make me do anything, and I appologize. Kind of going on empty. I know when the sun starts shining at the end of the week I will swing back again, and probably be super-girl once again. yay manic. Please.. please get here... sigh. stupid bi-polar.
I DID force myself to fill out the paperwork to submit to the ARC review book. I turned in my art for it on Thursday of last week.. woot! and turned in some poetry today.
I realize I am just starting my long career of collecting rejections, BUT that is good. The more rejections I can collect as an artist, the more chances I have to get a few acceptances! :D
Ok, back to work with me.. more babbling at your heads later...
