Quick Question Before Bed
Am I wrong or should the bolded word be ensure not insure in this context?
"What additional measures to insure the preservation of the property would you propose?"
This sentence was pulled from my syllabus for my Life Sciences class which I will be taking starting 6/8/08. (w00t!) This is one of the topics I must touch on in my final paper.
I'm curious about the word use because I'm usually really good about using the proper word in situations where other spellings are commonly, mistakenly used, and I've seen insure used more and more when I would have used ensure. I guess I'm starting to question my sanity.
