(no subject)
Not that this is a new development or anything, but holy hell do I love Train. I go through these phases where I never ever listen to music and then when I do get the itch, I find myself dancing around the wing, so pumped to know that there is music out there which inspires me that much. Let it Roll has to be the greatest song of all time. IMHO.
I have also discovered some new loves thanks to some of the ladies here at EB. Bands include: Vampire Weekend (they have a song which mentions Peter Gabriel, so how can they not be cool??) and Death Cab for Cutie. And as much as I do not want to admit it... I am growing increasingly fond of Regina Spektor. Powerful stuff out of that one.
Started reading Jurassic Park this weekend. I thought the movie rocked and then I picked up the book. Hells yes, it is awesome! (But isn't it usually the case that the book kicks the movie's ass??) I think, in this case, the movie might just actually do the book justice. But we'll wait and see before we make any conclusions there.
