smarty pants
yep thats me. i'm gonna brag for a minute. i met with my advisor to talk about grad school today. and while i was meeting with him my policy teacher came in. all of a sudden we're talking about smith, UC berekely, simmons, very good swk schools at all of them. my proff left and i asked my advisor if he thought i could get it, and he's like oh yes, i wouldn't say that if i didn't mean it. then... he encouraged me to get a phd, like a couple times. it was very nice to feel smart and feel like my fucking hours and hours of hard work had paid off. and then! my policy proff handed back part 2 of my eventually 20 page paper and gave me an a+ and said to just submit the final and not the next section because i am ready to write and way ahead of most of the class. this was my first a+ in college. awesome.
in not so great news, that nor so sublte gas smell coming from my car is the fuel tank leaking... $350- there goes my tax return and then some.
i saw this intense one woman play tonight. it was about joan of arc. this dyke playwrite performed this play about sort of the real story of joan of arc, slightly embellished. it was super feminist and super pro-dyke. turns out joan of arc was a big dyke, like had sleep overs w/ her best friend as teens, used to hold each other. dressed like a man, looked like a man, ran away after her friend became engaged. i love it. joan of arc was a dyke.
