So i just got a message from one of my formal students in Little Elm. Don't know if you have seen the news lately, but there was a 17 year old kid murdered last weekend in Little Elm. Ryan Cook. I did not think anything about it because my mom asked me if I knew the 15 year old kid killed there. I brushed it off because the only kids I still have that go there are seniors. Well, the two years makes a difference. He was in my Algebra 1 class my last year there. This is the first student I have lost, it is a very strange feeling. I think I need a drink.
