Leaf collection is scheduled for this week in my neighborhood. The township sends trucks out to suck up all of the leaves that have been raked to the curb. It appears that everyone except me spent the weekend reaking leaves to their curb. As I drive around the neighborhood, I'm consumed by thoughts of how much fun it would be to race up and down the streets, flying through these piles of leaves at 90 mph, leaving a burst of fall color in my wake. In fact, it takes every single iota of self restraint that I can muster to NOT do this. Seriously, if these leaves don't get picked up today, I will not be held responsible for my actions.
