Still behind, but still plugging away at my story. I wrote my little heart out yesterday trying to get to yesterday's word count goal, but my shoulders and back were on fire and my fingers were numb so I had to quit before I made it. I'm pleased with my progress, though, even if it is all shit. The funny thing is, while I'm writing this year's Nano, I'm getting ideas for my 2005 novel that I'm trying to revise, which is kind of cool.
My word count as of today:
21715 / 50000
(43.43%)
thanks to

Oh, and despite all my efforts to the contrary, I seem to have a theme song for my novel this year: Need You Now by Lady Antebellum. I am so *not* a country fan, but the words to this song are absolutely perfect for my two main characters.
Griffin still seems to be doing ok and I am one relieved kitty mommy. In fact, he's sitting on the desk next to me purring and taking a bath, making it sort of difficult for me to type as he keeps bumping my mouse and moving the cursor. Methinks I will not be getting much writing done tonight.
Harry Potter comes out this week. I'm excited and yet, I'm not. If the movie's anything like the trailers I've seen then it will be pretty fantastic, but ... eh, I just don't know. I'm still annoyed that they've split it into two movies. Kabir, Terry and I were going to go see it at midnight, but the midnight shows are all sold out, which I can't say I'm sorry about. These days I can't seem to stay up past 9:30 anyway so trying to keep awake would have been interesting. Not sure when I'm going now though.
Ok, time to get off the computer and get some kitty hugs.
