(no subject)
so this summer has flown by. it seems like just yesterday when i was at andrea's borrowing $60 from tanya to get a boot off of my car. sigh.
yesterday was sad. i had to say goodbye to my kids from leap. despite all of the crap that i had to deal with i really enjoyed teaching with the leap program. i almost cried when all the kids left yesterday. it really hit me when bria said "so we're not coming back tomarrow?" like adam said- i learned so much more from those kids than they learned from me. it was also great working with marya, jamie, adam, and dana.
last weekend was future fest. it went well overall- there were a few times when i wanted to kill a few people- but mostly people were great. i really couldn't have done it without the volunteers and oh ya- that one guy named doug. it was great fun working with doug- he's really the only person from school that i've talked to all summer. i really want to move into the apt and start school. i miss everyone.
daisy is 25.5 pounds. and she was 11.5 pounds when we got her. what a fatty. j/k she's getting her girl parts removed soon :(
