(no subject)
so it's been a long time since i've updated....
i've been kinda busy working in the shop for Cabaret. i'm sooooo happy that the show is built and opened without any major problems. i think it's a good show. as usual i LOVE stephen. he's one of my fav. actors.
soon it will be time to build violet. i can't wait. i just wish that john would multitask a little better so that the studio show could have props and furnature. grrr. we're all busy- deal with it.
so adam's last way off broadway show opens tonight. i'm really proud of what he has accomplished with w.o.b. and i'm sad to see it go- but i suppose that all good things come to an end sometime. i got to play the role of light tech which meant that i got to climb an extension laddar and change the lamps in the old rusted poopy par 64s that live in the ceiling of the recital hall. there were cig. butts up there-- weird. actually, there are cig. butts on top of the clouds in the festival- so i guess it's not that uncommon.
so yesterday was sara's b-day and we went out with adam and some of his women friends: that's right- most of adam's friends are women (who happen to be in love with him) they're all really nice though. we all went to thearapy cafe. we saw some wsu ppl, drink some cherry coke, and listined to adam sing karokee dedicated to sara. all in all it was fun. especially the drunk gay guy who sang "like a virgin" it was scary.
so i might be working at the playhouse more than i thought i would be this summer. i might do future fest which includes designing and building 3 portable shows and managing the $$$$$$. sara will prob be in colorado and ericka will be making $16+ working as an environmental intern for toyota!? when did we grow up? where was i when all this happened. then there's jimmy and ash who might as well be married- and amanda who....what ever happened to amanda. i haven't heard from her in so long.
so back to cabaret-

i'd just like to give a big woot to the TCJ for canceling shop today and monday WOOT.
