Sunday morning
In a few minutes I'll probably go take Bernie out for a walk. Then I'll need to start getting ready to head to Hot Springs. My uncle died while he was overseas on business. He and my aunt have been living in Europe for the past 5 years and had moved back to the states and had just finished building a house on the lake close to my parents. So I'm going down there to help out with people stopping by to console my aunt.
He was only 61. I can't believe he is gone. His name was Klaus and he was born in Germany. He came to the states to go to college. That's where he met and married my mom's sister. They had a very beautiful marriage. My aunt is heartbroken. It's such a shock. He was only a couple of months from retiring. Uncle Klaus was on a tour in Europe, climbing some steps, got light headed and collaped. It's going to take a couple of days for his body to get back here. My mom had to help my aunt deal with some procedures like faxing marriage certificated over.....
Anywho, I've been crying off and on. I'm ok. I just feel so sad for my aunt. She has a long life ahead of her without him.
