(no subject)
Yesterday was a lazy day, my throat is absolutely killing me...
Finlay and I stayed in bed all day watching movies - I was in the mood to relive my childhood after Superted arrived so we watched the Princess Bride and Labrynth... The lion, the witch & the wardrobe is next on our list...
Finlay's high chair arrived yesterday - with us getting into this weaning thing it seemed the right time to get one. The weaning thing is going great, we tried it early (due to his excesive milk consumption) but he wasn't interested... now he gets excited as soon as he see's the tub and grabs your hand with the spoon pulling it towards his mouth - which is as wide as i've ever seen it - waiting for the food. I'm going food shopping later and i'll get some more food for him, something different I think. Three meals a day and he loves it...
I need to get food for me too, preferably not just crisps and chocolate... I really need to shift some weight before Bryan & Helen's wedding. Just a few pounds would do. My shape has changed since giving birth, it's strange, i'm now the owner of mummy hips!
I ordered a new exercise dvd which I can hopefully do while Finlay's asleep so he doesn't laugh so hard this time...
I need to put my disposable camera's in to get developed, there's 10 from the wedding. Maybe i'll do it on Thurs, don't think Tesco does it, i'll go to Morrison's on thurs...
My mobiles going off in the next few days, I need to send everyone my new number, I hate that! Why do they insist in charging you £300+ to upgrade your handset when you renew your contract yet, if you take out a new contract and cancel the old one you get it for free! Makes no sense to me whatsoever..
I need strepsils or something, some kind of throat lozenge is at the top of my shopping list, and a cheese grater - god knows where mine is, it's lost somewhere...
need to check ebay see if we won that car thing... Stephen collects jack Daniels memorabilia, all sorts of stuff really from bottles to trucks, glasses to poker chips, we even own a Jack Daniels Electric Guitar... Oh and my favourite - our chess set, which is mine! still a bit pissed I had to pay £56 to get it out of customs. GRRR!! I haven't played Chess since my Granda died, maybe I should give it another go now... Probably not! Don't think i'm that desperate for something to entertain me!!!
Still haven't heard from Elisa, maybe I should see if ebay sells best friends??
I need to look into mother & toddler groups and the like to get me out of the house!!! Stephen's got a long weekend off this week, the first since the wedding. Saturday, Sunday, Monday... WooHoo!! We're going carpet shopping for the hall and stairs, still haven't got round to that but we will this weekend. I'm really fed up staring at floorboards!!
One of the girls from college just emailed me, gonna go check it out...
