(no subject)
Yesterday was busy, Clare didn't leave til late on, the carpet man came to measure up - it's getting fitted on Saturday.
we watched Pooh's Heffalump movie yesterday - Lumpy is SO cute!
Stephen got home late from work, so we snuggled up and watched the CSI finale - exactly what you'd expect from Tarantino. that man is GOD! True Romance is one of my all time favourite films - he might not have directed it but he did write it!
Finlay's doing well, we bit the bullet and bought some jars, trying to figure out what he likes so I can attempt to make him lunches and stuff.
He's sleeping the now, he's going through a strange stage - anytime he see's someone other than me & Stephen he cries. It takes him a while to get over it and come around. He was ok with Clare, but then she's his godmother - or will be when he gets christened!
It was really nice having company yesterday, got to do some housework & stuff. It would be so much easier if Finlay had set sleep times or went down for an hour or two but it doesn't happen! He was watching button moon this morning - totally enthralled... it was the one with the three pigs!
Speedy's settling in ok, he walked onto my hand for the first time yesterday - still won't let me pick him up, i'll try later. He hasn't tried to bite or anything, he just sniffs you & walks away. I'll maybe give him some cucumber as a treat later. I gave him a slice of dried banana yesterday & he tried to shove the whole thing in his pouch - it was nearly two inches long. Clare & I laughed that hard the tears were streaming down our cheeks & I nearly wet myself!
