What's not happening
Its amazing how close Christmas Eve actually is? It’s going to be very strange this year for me. I’m not going out on Christmas Eve night. I’ve never had a Christmas Eve where we didn’t go to the annual family holiday party and the children’s mass. It seems now everything is turned upside down.
So this year what is happening on Christmas Eve?
·Going to 11:00 mass to sing.
·Getting traditional Christmas present. (We get to open a present on Christmas Eve because it’s tradition)
·Than having a typical every day Sunday night
I should go to the midnight mass to sing with the choir but I would get home late and have to be up early for Christmas to go to my Nana’s and Grandma’s.
Last night I got my family to watch Rent. IT WAS A BIG DEAL. Just me, Mom, Dad, Sarah and Willie, Ben was too busy to watch it doing what ever he was doing. After the movie we had a long discussion about laws of the church.
It was about 1 or 2 before I fell asleep because Sarah and me talked for a long time about life, church, friends and family. We used to stay up all the time talking about everything before she got into college. I miss those days.
I woke up this morning with a sore throat and of course the only thing I could think about was Sunday and me sing sounding like a frog.
I know this is long for me but Just wanted to post something before the Merry Christmas post.
Oh I almost forgot I made the Yac(Youth Advisory Cabinet). Only a few people around the country get and I got it. Its a 2 year term! Yeah!!!
