Summer Time and the living is easy
Craziness with the girls this weekend. Kris and I rented movies from Randolph Saturday and then we went gallavanting around Woodstock, Hanover, Quechee and Bridgewater Sunday with Kerry and Megan. WE sunbathed at Megan's brother's new place in Bridgewater (beautiful lawn) before getting ice cream and hiking down to the bottom of Quechee gorge. Then we decided to fill our stomaches and do a little more "sight seeing" in Hanover, afterwards playing some Frisbee on the green and pretending to be studious Dartmouth students. Before dropping Kerry off at home we played on the over run with catterpillars playground, trying to avoid squashing the disgusting, squishy things. It was like an invasion.
Spent the night at Kris' and we took a beautiful hike in the morning with Lion and Ghandi. Alas, I had to go home to drive Sue back to Keene (where she will be for a month helping with student orientation). She has a very nice suite, including a living room, kitchen and spacious bathroom. Before I left her we walked around Keene and bought sabotaged ice cream cones.
So I am done at the Terrace! (Unless they REALLY need me for a meal or two). Good thing, My poor hands were taking a pretty bad beating from the dishwashing chemicals.
Ummmmmmmm....... not much exciting at the moment. After CPR training Thursday I may be driving the gang to B-Town for midnight Harry Potter viewing. We shall see. Next weekend is some River Festival we may attend (contra dancing on a boat!) and then there is always the drive-in. Trying to live it up before Kerry and Kris fly off to France for a month.
