When it rains....
Good morning, Flist.
My pc has been corrupted by a malicious virus disguised as a security alert pop-up. Of course, my laptop is no longer under Dell warranty, and Dell charges a lot of money now for tech assistance.
Therefore, I have a few questions:
1. Does anyone know of a reliable virus-removal software I could purchase to run on my laptop to get it back to normal?
2. For Mac users, are your computers as vulnerable to these things as pcs are? I have the latest in McAfee security, and it was of no help to prevent this from happening.
