Update
I figured I should probably update this since I've already finished my course work for this TAFE unit this morning.
So number 1 - I'm doing a TAFE course in Tourism atm. So far it is veeery easy, but is also pretty good. I'm the second oldest in the class and because I'm come in half way through the year there is only me and one other girl who are new and don't know anyone, but we stick together so is all good. Some of the work is interesting too and I'm looking forward to starting the projects. It runs until April next year so I'll be around till then.
2 - I'm back in Perth permanently. Is a little bit weird being back and being back in a 'normal' life. Am living back in Bicton with Ross, my brother. Thats been sort of a pain because he's not the most social or considerate person and most of the time I just want to hit him with a stick. Thankfully he's moving back up to the NT next month so I'll have the house to myself again and my Mum is sending Buffy my cat down so then I'll be happy. Can't wait to give the whole house a good clean. Shock horror, I've developed a few cleaning skills... actually more the willingness to be tidy. Just going to wait till my brother goes first.
3 - While I was away overseas my brothers friend wrote off my car.... Yeh..Fucked. But insurance paid out, so I'm now in the process of getting a new car. Car dealers are scum and I hope to never deal with them again after this. Have had all sorts of problems with them trying to get the car I want, a black Toyota Yaris YRX (sports) it's like a WRX but kinda squished up the front haha, well sort of. Anyway, it has cool features like bluetooth! 6 stacker CD player , aerodynamic kit, LCD everything and yeh, I can't wait to get it. It's on a ship atm, and I should get it by 10th August. It's all ordered and in my name, so nothing else better go wrong!!
4 - Been sort of seeing a guy, but it's all just casual atm and I don't see it going anywhere. But it gives me something to do and I get cuddles and stuff. On the other hand I've just found out that a guy I liked when I was working up in Gove, had/has a crush on me. So I've told him how I felt and yeh we're talking quite a bit now and I like it :D BUT he's all the way up there so that sucks, but adds a little excitement to things hehe. Then there is good ol' Manchester Mark who I was so happy to be able to catch up with while over in the UK. After the dramas with him earlier this year I thought all my romantic feelings for him had gone, but I found there is still a few pieces left. Then there's another guy who wants to meet up when he's next down from the mines, I dont think there's anything there from my side of it, but I'll give him a chance since we talk quite a bit on the net.
5 - I had SUCH a good time on the Russia trip. It may even be the best trip I had out of the three Europe trips I've done. I had a great group of people on my tour and catching up with Dave in Ireland and Mark in Manchester was excellent, was really good to see them. Also got to tick off the middle east as an area I've been to. Dubai was awesome and I'd love to go back some time when it's not so hot.
6 - I might do a round the world trip at the end of the year, just a quick one. Probably to UK, then Morocco, then NYC for NYE, then to Las Vegas and hopefully catch up with all my Yankee mates, then maybe to Mexico, then home. Not sure yet though, if I have the money I will, but I think my savings will be going down quite a bit over the next few months. Especially if I have to pay for my new car in full. Theres a low chance I might go up to Nhulunbuy in the school holidays. I might try and squish in a weekend Bali trip out of Darwin if I do. Yay Bali!!
Umm, well I think thats me up to date. Am trying to get a Russia website up quickly with all my journal, photos and video on it, so that's on it's way.
