For the Next Year
Ok so I am moving to St Louis. Most likely on the 23rd of this month. So I need to get all my stuff together.
The reason I am moving is that I got an americorps position working on a transportation and health program for senoirs at the South Grand Senoir Ministry. The program is orgainzed through a group of churches.I am reall excited about it. The other people who work there seem realy nice and I am actually going to start early. In early July I go to service training in New Mexico for a few days but other then that I will be living in a restored convent and my landlord is pries. Everyone seems very laidback and relaxed but motivated so it should be a good work environment. Plus I have never been to St Louis so now I get to explore a new city.
The only problem is that I need a car. So i have been looking around but so far no luck. I am going with my dad to look at another tomorrow. If that doesn't work i might end up driving dad's jeep to StL and then figureing it out from there.
