First Day

Today was my first day of work. It was typical b/s training day. Going over dress code and acceptable behavior, loss prevention, and how to clock in. My dumb ass wore little heals thinking it wouldn't be bad...WRONG-O!!!! My feet are aching and swollen. Other than that it was a really good day. The girls there are really nice. It wasn't like a typical first day for me. Normally, I would be super nervous and sick to my stomach. I guess because I'm not really worried about how I will do at a job like this. There's really no way for me to screw it up. Plus, I'm picking up another house to clean. So that will replace the income I would make at a full time job...well kind of. If I could pick up a few more houses I would be happier, but I'll do 2 for now and see how that works. Get myself on a regular schedule and be good to go. Next week is my PartyLite starter show!!! So excited for that. I'm hoping some of the girls at work my want to host parties or maybe I could do a book show in the store. Not really sure about the rules on that though. Things are going really well and we're finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. I'm still in fear of our gas and electric turning off. It seems like I spend so much money on food that I can't spend money on anything else. I need to start making a list and sticking to it. No more of this buying whatever stuff. Not until we have the money to really do that.
Well I guess that's about all for now. Hope everyone out there in live journal world is having a great day. I think I'm going to go soak my feet in some ice water. lol
