Okay, so for the past two weeks I've been avoiding downloading the leaks to Beyonce's album and her myspace page because I wanted to wait until the 18th to buy the CD and listen to it then. I've been listening to the leak for some weeks now. It's a solid album, although the song "diva" I could do without. It has a weird, funny sound to it, and in all honesty, it sounds kiddish, and something you'd hear on radio disney.

Other than the that, the album is on point. I too pre-ordered it on iTunes. I got the video version.

I KNEW I'd be the one person who doesn't like this album! lol

Halo is my sister's favorite too. It took me a while but it's starting to grow on me. I think Diva is...amusing. Very, very amusing. I'll leave it at that.

It's a good album. You're buggin. And "Diva" is terrible. I don't know what they were thinking.

Parts of it are growing on me. I was telling shellabelle earlier that my initial reaction was that I personally hate it but ignoring my own taste I can see how its commercial appeal. That said, I do like three songs, Disappear, Single Ladies, and Sweet Dream. I'll probably come around to liking Halo eventually. I didn't hate it, it just didn't grab me at first.

Diva is awful, but in a very funny way. I like it because it makes me laugh and it's easy to mock.

oh, also, i heard the single cd, not the double disc. i usually like beyonce so i'm holding out hope that once i hear both cd's i'll like more stuff.

correction, standard edition as opposed to deluxe edition. just now realizing the standard edition is still two cds, just minus some tracks.

Well, I was still up....I went to bed right before you posted this comment because I thought, well no one else is on. Dammit.

And my agency has just called with an 8 to 5 job. No more late nights for me :-( But yay job!
