Happy New Year!
I hope everyone had a lovely new year's! I had to go back to work today, which sucked, especially since a lot of other school districts don't have to go back until next week. One good thing about coming back from long breaks is that the kids are all subdued and quiet and well-behaved. And they act so happy to see me and tell me all about their Christmas gifts like I'm their most favorite person in the world. And one of my kids when he first saw me said "Ms.(My last name), you look like one of them Dreamgirls."
I was going to do resolutions this year, but then I realized that it would be pointless because I already know I'm not going to keep them. So I'm going to just try to work out more and drink more water. Oh, and I also want to read 50 books this year, which should be doable, even though I only read 40-something last year. I'll try to keep track here in an LJ post.

Favorite Episode “Clash of the Tritons.” I just love everything about this episode, the MotW, the Echolls family drama, the meetings with Ms. James (although I don’t like her), the BFF moments, KB singing, and of course the whole “Veronica Mars is…smarter than me” exchange. "A Trip to the Dentist" is a very close second, though.
Least Favorite Episode It’s a close tie between “The Girl Next Door” and “Drinking the Kool-Aid”. I dislike both MotWs, but the one in DtK was at least a little more interesting than the one in TGND. But the Weevil and Logan scenes in TGND pwn just about everything. So I’ll say Drinking the Kool-aid would be my least favorite.
Favorite LineWallace in the Pilot: “Oh no you don’t. You really think I’m gonna let you get away with that? That might play with the masses. But underneath that angry young women shell, there’s a slightly less angry young woman who’s just dying to bake me something. You’re a marshmallow, Veronica Mars, a twinkie. (I heart those BFFs so much)
Favorite Scene I really can’t just pick one. I have way too many. But I guess if I have to pick one, right now it would be the scene in “An Echolls Family Christmas” when Veronica’s revealing who the poker thief was.
Favorite Character Veronica. She was the first character I loved and even though she can be a bit of a b*tch now, she’ll always be my favorite.
Least Favorite Character Duncan. I actually do like him, he just ranks the lowest out of all the main cast members.
Favorite non Logan or Veronica Character (n/a if answered above) Wallace! He’s such a great friend and he just seems to be such a good-hearted person. Plus he’s cute.
Favorite Recurring High Schooler Does Troy Vandegraff count? Because he did recur for awhile. I miss him so much.
Favorite Recurring Adult Cliff. I adore him.
Least Favorite recurring High Schooler Madison Sinclair. I don’t hate her, she’s just not all that interesting to me.
Least Favorite recurring Regular Adult I guess Lamb. I do like him, but I really don’t get the “OMG, Lamb’s so great, I love him!” that a lot of other people do. Plus I can never forget how he laughed in Veronica's face when she reported her rape.
Best parent Hands down, Keith Mars. Best parent ever. (Well, up until some moments in season 3, when he started skanking around with married women instead of yelling at Veronica when she needed it.)
Worst Parent Aaron Echolls, most definitely. Although I really hate Lianne Mars too, and I think she’s awful.

Favorite L/V Scene the scene in "M.A.D" when Veronica's fixing her car in front of Logan, Dick, and Beaver. I love their little sly glances at each other.
Favorite Moment I’ll be unoriginal also and say The Kiss in “Weapons of Class Destruction.” I was spoiled that it would happen, but it was still a shock to see it and very well done.
