What's It Gonna Be?
I found out today that the last day of school was changed from June 7 to June 9 for students, and from June 10 to June 13 for teachers. I don't understand this. I don't remember us using up a lot of snow days. And it's not like there's any actual learning going on those last few days of school. It's like Movie Central in my classroom the last week of school. So it sucks that we have an extra two days of school now :(
Yesterday and today I watched the first two episodes of Gilmore Girls on the ABC Family channel. Usually at 5:00 I watch 90210 reruns on SoapNet, but yesterday it didn't come on because of some Daytime Emmy crap, so as I was flipping through channels I saw that the pilot episode of GG was on. I know some people on my flist like the show, and lots of VM fans also like GG, so I figured I'd watch it. It was pretty good, though the main characters are kind of annoying. Now I need to decide if I want to keep watching it, or go back to watching the 90210 reruns, which I've already seen a billion times.
