TGIF
How much longer does college basketball last? This is the only sport that messes with my TV viewing. I haven't been able to see Entertainment Tonight the past few days because of it. They pre-empted a few episodes of VM because of it, but I didn't mind because they were only the reruns. But if the stupid college b-ball preempts any of the new episodes, I'm going to be seriously pissed.
My class had our pizza party today. The school ordered all this Papa John's pizza for us and the kids just picked over most of it. They get so excited about having pizza parties, but then when we actually have them, they barely eat the pizza. One of the kid's parents sent a tray of celery and carrots as a snack to go with it (which was nice because most parents only send cookies or cupcakes). The kids were more excited over that than the pizza, especially after I gave them some chunky peanut butter to go with it. I passed some of the pizza out to some other teachers, but I still have a bunch of it left and will be eating it all weekend.
Things I need to do this weekend:
1. Go shopping. I need some more socks and underwear. I don't know how these things just seem to disappear but they do.
2. Get my eyebrows done. I haven't been in a minute and they are starting to look seriously straggly and weird.
3. I think I'm going to try and see Block Party. I like Dave Chappelle and cerebralshrike says it's worth seeing, so I think I'll check it out. I haven't been to the movies in awhile (I think the last one I saw was Jarhead.)
4. Post in a certain thread before stickykeys633's Gedeon icon cuts me. I'll be on it, Stix!
That's it. Nothing terribly exciting.
Oh, last night I'm happily snug asleep in my bed when my cell phone starts buzzing like it does when I have a text or instant message. It's like 4 in the morning so I'm like, who in the world is texting me? It turned out to be amani87 wondering why I was still up at that time of night (morning). I have all my AIM's forwarded to my cell if I'm not signed onto my computer and I rarely respond to them, so sorry Jas! But thanks for inquiring anyway, since at times I do end up mindlessly surfing the internet with no regards to the time. And to anyone else who instant messages me and I don't respond, that's why.
