first week of school, bleh.

Ok, re-entering school after....uh. let's see, 2001, has proven to be a little tougher than I had anticipated. I'm taking psycho, bio 181, 2 healthcare core classes, and english. I had to read a lot more than I had wanted to, and it's apparently more work than I had guessed. Luckily, all my classes (with the exception of english) are kinda enveloping the same material for the first couple chapters, which does make it a bit easier. I was a little stressed out after my first day of school on Monday the 22nd, but I think I'll be ok if I keep my nose glued into my books, and ahead of the professors. I think the reading is gonna be the most unfun part. I do not comprehend reading in text books unless I write down what I intend to remember...which usually entails a detailed outline of each chapter. This is time-consuming, yet I find it necessary after it being 3 years since I've been in school. The goal is straight A's, unfortunately, I'm actually gonna have to put in more effort than I had wished. Ugh, imagine that!!! So far, I've turned in one graded assignment and taken the first quiz for my online class, and I made a 98 on the quiz. I'm satisfied with that....but it's only the first week. We shall see what happens. It's 5:30 am and I have to do a little more reading before I get ready for school....9-2 today, woohoo. Then I trek to the hospital to human resources......in hopes of a job.
