Though this is a very old poem I first heard it in a song sang by Sinéad O'Connor. 'Feel So Different' is opened with this poem and then it goes into the actual song.
When I first heard it, I couldn't but stop everything I was doing. I had recently ripped all my parents old cd's to my laptop and was listening to them while I other things. I was very taken back by the intro to the song that I actually replayed the intro over and over again, thinking about the words. It actually inspired me slightly.
Anyway that's my poem. I'd like to see yours... please?
