Sigh! This stinks. I have been off line for a little while and just got back the other day. However, we are back on dial up and it stinks. When we moved we went with hughes net, and let me tell you we had speeds lower then dial up and all of a sudden it went out. We called tech support and after going through all kinds of grabage they decided they needed to have someone come out and check what was going on. They also said it could be the modem. When the tech came out he said everything was fine on the outside and that he thought it was the modem gone bad. You would think they would have one on the truck to replace this one........NO of course not and it was going to be another 3 weeks or better before we would be back on line. Than they tell us that we WILL be charged the same and there would be no credit given for downtime. Big Daddy lost his cool and told them to come and get there crap out of my house. So here we are back with dial up and it sucks.
In other news, I finally went to the Dr. I have been out of my blood pressure meds for a while now and I had started swelling in my feet and legs pretty badly. I went Tuesday and my BP was 281/218 she immediately put me back in my BP meds and my thyroid meds. And for some reason she decided to run a chest X-Ray. When she came back to the room she said that my heart was enlarged and she was sending me in for an echocradiogram and a stress test. I went for that today. The cardiologists, said after the tests were complete that yes my heart is enlarged and he thinks it is due to my BP and that we were going to have to aggressivly treat it because if the heart attack does not get my the stroke is going to. He also said that I am a speeding bullet heading towards congestive heart failure if we don't get this under control. I go back to the Dr. Monday to get the results of my blood work and echo tests. And I am sure that they are going to either add another BP med or change the dosage of what I am currently taking. I also feel sure that she is going to put me on a lovely diet that will consist of 10 pages of things I am not allowed to look at let alone eat anymore and a small paragraph of what I can eat.
Then I go to work today after having the tests run and the school nurse calls me and tells me they think Rian, could be hypoglycemic and that the symptoms he is having point to low blood sugar. So I suppose I will be making an appointment for him to be checked out for diabests.
I am glad to be back cause I missed everyone. YAY ME I am back online. That's really all the news I have for now. MUAH to you all and I will check back Sunday.
