The Great Culling. The Final Liquidation Comes!

Sep 07, 2005 23:15

I'm emailing this to most friends and thought I'd post it here as well. Feel free to share the news with anyone with cash who might be interested.

Okay. Quick announcement. Due to my own medical bills, my landlady pressing for 18 monthes of back gas and water bills that she didn't bother to present me with until July (about $1900 worth!), and now my dear Scruffem's veterinary bills ($538 so far and climbing with over a hundred a month for meds for me and kitty),
The Time has finally arrived.
The comics are gone.
Paperbacks are practically worthless, but they'll have to be going too.
The Godzilla toys...I'm looking into selling most but not all, however collectible prices for those have fallen so far that I can't be sure it'd be worth the agony.
That leaves...
Games.
Boxes and Boxes of RPG's. That I never play. In some cases games that I never DID get to play.
It pains me. It galls me. But the grim reality is that I need cash and I really, really won't miss most of the RPG collection if it goes away.
So.
Since you folks are Friends, I figured I'd give y'all first dibbs on the bounty. I'd rather sell to friends than to anonymous Ebay buyers through a third party (which is my main option at the minute).
Prices are totally negotiable on everything that I'm willing to part with in the first place.
Complete Battletech?
D6 Star Wars?
Traveller--everything ever published for first edition?
Legend of the Five Rings?
Al Qadim, Forgotten Realms, Ravenloft? Dark Sun?
Some GURPS books I can part with. (figure I'll keep the basic game, The Prisoner sourcebook, Camelot and maybe Witch World. The rest I could part with.)
Have a hankering for outdated Star Fleet Battles?

There are games that I'm certainly keeping. (Over the Edge, White Wolf, all incarnations of Star Trek, probably Call of Cthulhu, but I could be talked out of it. etc.)

Everything is negotiable at this point.
Anyone looking for something in particular?
Make an offer!
