"What are you doing?" Penny accused.
"I'm merely opening the car door for you. Is this not customary for the gentleman to open the lady's door?"
"Yeah, if we still rode in carriages and the gentleman was driving," she spat sarcastically at him.
"Are you saying that the rules specific the male to be driving?" Sheldon said, diplomatically ( Read more... )

You always planned your life as a sitcom. The high school dramas and clever quips. You moved to LA to start a new season or a spin-off (You can't decide which). You'd have work hijinks, call-backs, and a hunk who'd keep appearing at both. Life happened differently and you wonder when your real story is going to begin.

You never considered the obvious. Never thought it had already started, that you're reaching your sweeps climax, that three knocks and a man nothing like your imagined hunk could be so important.

He has wrecked your script, but you can re-write that.

First kisses could be a bad thing. They could be frightening and horrible. It could be on the hottest day of the year and you're sweating through your double layered shirts. Or it could be on a day when you had a cold and your nose was draining down your throat. Or it could be that you had been late to work because your stupid roommate's in love with your arch nemeses...again.
Or, if you're Sheldon Cooper, it could be all of these things. And when the beautiful girl across the hall kisses you, you forget them all.

All Day. All day she sat on the couch next to Sheldon, who didn't seem to notice her in the least, he hadn't even LOOKED at her when she came in, let alone said hello even. It was all about the Smallville marathon on Space Channel and talking non-stop about the mistakes the show made, how *unscientific* it was. Penny just thought the guy who played Clark was hot. She sighed and started getting up, this was dumb. She began to walk to the door,
'Penny, where are you going?'
Sheldon stared at her unnervingly.
She smiled,
'Nowhere honey.'

And thus my first post here. Drabbles are hard man. I'm sticking to fan art haha.

"Slip this under Sheldon's bedroom door, please." Penny held a cd out to Leonard. "I don't want him to know that it's from me until he uses it on his laptop."
Leonard frowned as he took the disc between two fingers, holding it like it was something he would rather throw in the trash. "What is it?"
Penny blushed. "That's really none of your business."

All is defined as being or representing the entire or total number, amount, or quantity.

Sheldon spends all of his time thinking about Penny.

Part of him realizes that simply isn't possible. That no person could spend all of their time thinking about anything, no matter the topic.

But, in little ways, she's always there now. Sneaking into his thoughts, disrupting his routine, and otherwise making her presence known, even in her absence.

Sheldon thinks about this almost as much as he thinks about her.

It's the inkling of something more.

Something more he's not certain he wants to discover.

"'Discover: The Joys of Trigonometry'?"

Penny turned the book over in her hands to inspect the cover. The book he had handed her, or rather shoved, had glossy color pages.

"I conducted thorough research on the topic. I read the reviews on Amazon, Alibris, and several forums for mathematics educators. The consensus is that this is the best guide."

"Sweetie... I already bought the textbook."

"Yes, I looked into it and most people seem to deem the assigned textbook... as you might put it, a piece of crap."

The small, but thoughtful gift weighed heavier in her mind than in her hands.

"But why?"

"Wh-wh-why did you do that?"

Penny smiled and kissed him again. Only a small peck on the lips really. He froze and stared at her silently, hardly even breathing. In fact, he stayed quiet for so long (at least 5 seconds, it had to be some kind of record) that Penny wondered if she had broken him.

Until finally, "P-p-penny!" He complained, (or begged, she wasn't really sure.)

She rested her hand against his warm cheek as she replied to his question: "The first one was because I felt like it, and the second one was to see if you'd stutter again."

"Again, I must ask that you not call me at work, Penny!"
...
"No, No, I don't think it's unnatural for you to wish to speak to me on this matter."
...
"No, I don't expect you to call Leonard."
...
"Yes, Penny, I am well aware that I owe you a favor".
...
"Now, I think that's asking too much."
...
"Twelve times."
...
"Fine, I concede."
...
"No, Penny, that was secede."
...
"Yes, I'll be home early."
...
"Thai food? But it's Tuesday!"
...
"Pride and Prejudice?!"
...

"What the hell wast that?" Kripke asked from the door.
"The wife is craving Thai food."
"Again?!"
"Constantly."

Constantly, thoughts of Sheldon Cooper ran through her mind.

Even in her dreams it was a displeased looking Sheldon who rose up out of the pond with a translucent shirt clinging to his chest instead of a young Colin Firth.

But these were not the nightmares she had expected them to be. Penny always woke from nightmares with her heart racing as soon as the boogie man jumped out.

Dream Sheldon was still Sheldon, but it seemed that her mind was picking the best bits to weave into her dreams.

Slowly, he found his way into her waking thoughts.

All in all there were worse ways to wake up than in a tangle of limbs. Penny glanced at her bedmate.

She pulled away hard, falling to the floor. She winced, but the man hadn't stirred. She was still clothed. Good. Penny mussed the covers, hiding her former presence and dashed across the hall.

"Sheldon!" she hissed, knocking.

"What?"

Penny grabbed his hand, dragging him to his bedroom. "When Howard wakes up, you and I have been here all night." She pulled off his bathrobe.

"Penny, you know I can't--" Desperate, Penny shut him up with a hard kiss, knocking him back onto his bed.

Maybe it’s the alcohol in her system, but she’s kinda liking kissing Sheldon even as she doesn’t think about it too much. He makes kitten noises against her mouth and she’d smile if her lips weren’t busy. She’s starting to think maybe Sheldon Cooper is actually homo Sapiens when she hears something in the hall. She needs an alibi, so she moves her fingers from where they’ve been playing and slides a hand to the elastic of his Tuesday pajamas.

He gasps and she almost feels sorry for him, but there’s Howard in the hall and there’s no more time.

“Sorry, Sheldon,” she whispers. “Now take off your pants.”

{I'd considered a crossover with Firefly in which some of the characters were in the first group to head off Earth and then have some ships be destroyed in transit and the Sino-American alliance arise as strongest in the trip over. Sheldon and Penny forming a family together on a ship. But I couldn't think of a plot, so I drabbled it instead... I am writing a short fic though! It'll be up, hm... later this week, I suppose.}
