I'm itching to write some new Sheldon/Penny but I need a plot bunny! I'm thinking something holiday related... I'd like to do a one-shot, possibly more than one if the bunnies catch my eye. The more original the better--- I've been writing fic for like 9 years now and I like when stuff's different enough to pique my interest

I have a very weird picture in my head of Sheldon in his Spock ears and a Santa hat (jammed on his head by Penny) being mistaken for an elf somewhere, and not getting into the Christmas spirit at all. You can have that if you like...

I have actually written a fic based around Xmas but still cannot figure out how to create a link in the community. So it is just sitting in my livejournal account.

Thanks for your help but someone is going to have to take me through it step by step. I have re-edited the story but still cannot see how I copy and paste or make a link to the community. I feel like a real dunce as I am normally fairly internet competant and have never had this problem on any other site.

Make a post to the comm, drop that link ^ into your post and switch out the []'s for <>'s. To get to the link, you click on your title of the post and that actually takes you to the individual journal entry.

Hi..new to the fandom, new to the ship, new to the...uhm. Yeah. Started watching this season, so I have no idea how much Ive missed in terms characterization and growth and whatnot, but Id thought Id throw this out there. I may get around to writing something for it.
Anyway...the bunny
Penny's faking it. I don't know why, but she's faking being mostly dumb. While of course not on the level of Sheldon, she does actually get science-speak and concepts of whatever the guys talk about, etc. Sheldon finds this tidbit of information out.

Sheldon and Penny have been dating for awhile and Sheldon wants to ask Penny to marry him, but first he wants to ask Penny's father's permission, so he convinces Penny to take a trip home to Omaha to introduce him to her folks. While there, Sheldon asks for permission.
