Ok, so here's some more of it:
2.
"Leonard!"
Penny burst into her neighbor's apartment, hoping that she will find him still at home. He was sitting on the couch, just staring ahead of him, within his hands his access card.
"Leonard!" She repeated his name more loudly this time if it was even possible. And it worked, because he slowly looked up to her standing now in front of him.
"Did you speak to Sheldon?" She asked immediately.
"I did."
"And?" She almost screamed.
"Actually, it wasn't actually a too long conversation. He only said that you will come with me instead of him, because he will stay to try and raise the Cooper-Wollowitz shield."
"That's it?" Penny couldn't believe what he heard. Her urge to find some explanation what had happened today, or the past few years for that matter just reached sky limit.
"Well, he doesn't really big for the whole goodbye-thing, you know." Said Leonard sadly.
"He did say: 'Live long, and prosper!', though." he added after a second of silence.
"Unbelievable." She just couldn't make any sense of this whole craziness, so she decided to got up on the 'pissed train'.
"He really thought that we will just go? Just do what he said? Well no, Mr. Ph.D!" She already felt better by letting out her rage.
"We have to find him, Leonard!" She said adamantly.
"No, Penny, we don't!"
"What?" Her anger is started to shift towards the nerd with the glasses before him from the tall nerd she couldn't get to.
"Listen Penny." Leonard started, trying to ease her.
"I know Sheldon. And I saw it in his eyes. He already made up his mind, and there is nothing you could do."
"Just watch me!" She snapped.
"Fine. He is already gone back to the Redemption Facility, to prepare and synchronize the emitters all around the globe to be ready to raise the shield when it is time. Do you really wanna go there and drag him out of there by his ears?"
Penny didn't know what to say. She just sank in the couch next to Leonard. To Sheldon's spot. His formal spot, because when he decided to stay, he gave up everything in one minute. She started to feel the tears rolling down on her face.
"Penny, think about it. Even if you could stop him. He is trying to save the world."
"But he himself said that he won't be able to." She cried heavily now. Leonard put an arm around her, trying to calm her.
"You know him. He just has to try. It's like he was born for this." The fact that he as well almost cried hadn't help much, but somehow they were able to draw strength from each others sadness.
"We have to go now." Said Leonard, and held his hand out to Penny. She grabbed it, feeling she can't even walk alone right now. They started to walk like this, hand in hand, both mourning their soon to be lost friend.
