8.03 - THE FIRST PITCH INSUFFICIENCY

I am profoundly delighted by the way that Leonard and Penny are actually canonically discussing their relationship problems.

I'm finally starting to believe that there could be some real character development for Howard.

Okay, that was the worst pre-credits final sting ever. I really liked the Mars rover reveal though.

But wow, I really liked this episode in terms of the double date and also getting to see Raj, Howard, and Bernadette hanging out together.

8.04 - THE HOOK-UP REVERBERATION

'You told Emily we hooked up?'
'In my defence, I tell everyone.'

I think this is the season where Sheldon talks about how much everyone loves him a lot.

'Ssssh, Amy's here now.'

Jesus, Sheldon, stop with the implying Penny's a slut.

Okay, people's lack of sympathy for the guys trying to help their friend get back to work is really ticking me off. To be honest? The four of them have known Stuart longer than they've known any of the girls.

Raj needs to extract his foot from his mouth post-haste.

I just spent the last three minutes of the episode going what for various reasons.

I have to say though they are really nailing the final pre-credits scenes this season. Especially the ones with the four guys just hanging out.

8.05 - THE HOOK-UP REVERBERATION

I am so fucking pleased Penny's studying, and so sure it's going to crash and burn by the end of the episode.

The past-present-future tense thing cracked me right up.
