I am not a shipper of anyone in particular on this show but I have to agree with many of the comments regarding Chuck Lorre. He is not a great writer or producer in my opinion but he obviously makes CBS money which may explain why he gets away with doing many of the things he does to his characters on his shows (Two and a Half Men, TBBT come to mind). IMO, he has no respect for women which is why he allows characters like Penny to do the things they do. In a way, when Charlie Sheen was having his meltdown, it may have been his way of protesting his feelings about Chuck Lorre but, of course, the way it played out in the media, he was the crazy one. Maybe if Chuck Lorre was my boss, I may have reacted the same way. LOL
Unfortunately, what we see on the TBBT will probably play out this way whether or not it goes beyond Season 7. It is a different show from seasons 1-3, which is a good thing in some ways. Change happens to all of us. However, if you are a Shenny shipper, I can't see it happening anytime soon or ever. It would definitely have been an interesting plot twist.
