Okay so every time I listen to 'Inertia Creeps' by Massive Attack I have this very vivid idea for a storyline. At first I tried to make a video about it, but sadly there just aren't enough scenes to work with (you know, those kind of scenes). So rather than heavily manipulate with what we have, I decided to wait, hoping that someday we'll get some S/P action, even if not in this context. Recently though I realised that it actually could be a very good fanfic. Again, the problem - I can't really write. Not to mention that English is not my native language. So, instead of ruining a rather good plot bunny, I think it's best to post it here. I hope it will interest someone.
In short, it's about sexual tension between Penny and Sheldon while she's in a relationship with Leonard. Sheldon was able to control and ignore his own desire and jealousy when Penny became their neighbour, friend and Leonard's crush. When the two started going out, he was sure that it was just a matter of time till they break up and the balance is restored. The problems begin when Leonard and Penny start having sex in their apartment: noises in the night (it's already canon that Sheldon can hear everything through the wall, nudge nudge), her running around the kitchen almost naked in the morning, the smell of them on the couch (3x04 when Penny wanted to do it on his spot) - for example. When they're alone, without Leonard, things happen (starting for example with the canon boob grab from 3x08) and Penny disturbingly seems to enjoy and even provoke them. Slowly Sheldon loses control first over his thoughts, then actions and finally they have sex (3rd verse of the song). I'm not sure about the ending, but I think it can be left open, just with some tension between the three of them. Maybe Leonard suspects something, Sheldon feels guilt, Penny gets off on all of this. Of course, feel free to alter the "plot" any way you want.
