I have this mean book report for my U.S. history class tomorrow, not looking forward to that because I haven't really read much of the book yet. Now I know what your thinking but, hey It took me like 3 weeks to find it, I eventually had to steal my cousin Amy's Austin Library card and check the ONLY copy they had in all the branches. Unfortunatly it is not as good as I was hoping it would be, it is a historical fiction called Confidence men and painted ladies. It is about how befor industialization came along the US was a fairly class-less society. And then alot of the young women and men left there rural areas to go make a fourtune for them selves, and ended up becoming con artist/theives and prostitutes/showgirls It is a very odd book. Amy recomended it but I should have thought about it befor getting it because she is a freak getting her masters in history right now, and likes to read history text books for fun. She is going to be one of those historians that you see on the history channels that knows way to much about the topic. Well have a good weekend... TTFN
