"I'm not saying that I am a saint..."

-See Penelope! Do not listen to Entertainment Weekly's review. It is nonsense and rubbish. Just because their are no instances of James McAvoy and Keira Knightly having what seems to be very uncomfortable sex against a bookshelf does not mean the movie cannot be good

-Read Inkheart! If only for the quotations at the beginning of each chapter...
(Book 3/50)

My grandmother's funeral was yesterday. We spent all day Sunday at the viewing. I could not go up to my grandfather, especially after being told how much I looked like my grandmother when she was my age. At the funeral I sat with my mom, my husband and my nephew and I felt tired. I felt exhausted at the thought of another death and I wondered where I will be when it comes time for me to go. I am not very religious and ask my friends, I am no easy convert, but I cannot believe that when you die, you die and that is all or that when you die, if you did not follow the Christian life and have faith, you will end up in hell. The pastor at the funeral pointed out that God was going to try for rest of the life he gave us to make sure we ended up in Heaven with him and I thought to myself, "I'm sure I am making God's job much more difficult if this is the case."

Who knows?

funeral, religion, life
