I’m currently 8 hours from home and guess what I am told…
Massive wild fires near my house. Hundreds of residents have been evacuated - including a dear friend of mine and my husband - and if the wind shifts, my husband will be one of the next evacuated.
I don’t think I have ever felt as helpless as I do at this moment. Not that I could do anything if I were there…but still.
