There is a house downtown that I have always loved. For as long as I have known it, it has been the cheapest of cheap thrift shops. It is stinky inside and dirty and filled with ugly things. However, the house is breathtaking. The mouldings, the fireplaces, the stairs, the antique-ness. Said house is now for sale. I know that the house wants me to buy it and restore it. It is $280,000. For around here, that is quite pricey. If anyone knows of grants or special loans for historical homes, please let me know :)
